Bespoke Objects & Brand Experiences
From our signature hand fans to distinctive event pieces and coordinated collections, Island Whisper Atelier develops bespoke objects around the brand, audience and occasion.
We can manage the journey from creative direction and original artwork through sampling, production, finishing and international delivery.
OUR APPROACH
The Brief Comes First. The Object Follows.
We do not begin with a fixed product catalogue.
A project may start with a brand identity, campaign, venue, destination, event concept, colour palette, existing artwork or simply the experience the client wants to create.
From there, we develop the creative direction and determine which object, material and level of personalisation make sense for the audience, setting, quantity and purpose.
BRAND IDENTITY · AUDIENCE · OCCASION · VENUE · PURPOSE
The result should feel connected to the experience — not like merchandise with a logo added afterwards.

03 — VIP & PRIVATE EXPERIENCES
Considered pieces for invitation-only gatherings, private clients, members, partners and special guests.

Design-led pieces for concerts, nightlife, festivals and higher-volume activations where visibility, function, production and budget must work together.
THE ATELIER
One Idea. Many Forms.
Our bespoke hand fans remain the signature of Island Whisper Atelier, but the creative direction does not have to stop with one object.
Depending on the brief, the same visual language can extend into a coordinated collection of pieces developed around the event, brand or experience.

We do not start by choosing the product.
We start by understanding what the experience needs.
REAL PROJECT · NEW YORK
Persol · New York Flagship Opening
For the opening of Persol's New York flagship store, Island Whisper Atelier was commissioned to develop a bespoke hand fan created specifically for the occasion.
The objective was not conventional promotional merchandise. The piece needed to feel considered, useful and desirable enough to live beyond the event itself.
THE BRIEF
Create a distinctive piece for guests attending the flagship opening — recognisably connected to Persol while remaining refined enough to be used and kept afterwards.
THE DIRECTION
An understated off-white palette, natural wood and restrained brand integration created a piece where materials and construction remained part of the design.
THE DELIVERY
Island Whisper Atelier managed the project from creative concept and prototype development through production, quality control and international delivery, working within an exceptionally compressed event timeline.

One Creative Direction. One Point of Contact.
A strong idea is only useful if it can also be produced well.
Island Whisper Atelier can coordinate the creative and production journey, giving brand and event teams one point of contact from the initial brief to the finished pieces.

-
Yes. Branding can be integrated through colour, artwork, engraving, fabric details, labels, accessories or presentation rather than relying on an oversized logo. The objective is for the final piece to feel connected to the brand while remaining desirable in its own right.
-
Yes. We can coordinate the journey from creative direction and artwork through sourcing, specifications, samples, production, finishing, quality control and international delivery. This gives brand and event teams one point of contact throughout the project.

For fully bespoke hand fans, most projects begin from approximately 100 pieces. Minimum quantities for other objects depend on the material, production technique and level of personalisation required.
Standard hand fan production generally requires approximately 3–6 weeks after final approval. Selected urgent projects may sometimes be assessed on an accelerated 10–15 day schedule, depending on quantity, design, materials, destination and production capacity. More complex collections may require longer.
